Description
Zinc oxide (ZnO), commonly known as zinc white, is a kind of oxide of zinc, which is insoluble in water but soluble in acid and alkali. Zinc oxide(indirect method) is the use of zinc ingots as raw materials, which is conversed to zinc vapor in graphite crucible at 1000 ° C, then zinc vapor is oxidized by bubbling air and through the cooling tube, zinc oxide particles are collected. The product purity varies with the raw material of zinc ingots. Except zinc ingots, zinc slag is another kind of raw material. Good technology and pure zinc ingots can make the product purity reach more than 99.8%.

Application

1.In rubber industry, indirect method zinc oxide is a reinforcing agent,active agent and curing agent of natural rubber and synthetic rubber, also coloring agents and fillers of white glue. Addition of activated zinc oxide compound can make the rubber have good abrasion resistance, tear resistance and elasticity. It’s can be used in paint, ink, varnished coloring, also as printing materials in dyeing and printing industry.
2.In the match industry, zinc oxide (indirect method) is applied to neutralize acid of glue and increase the adhesive effect. 
3.In the medical industry, zinc oxide can be used as adhesive material, fine zinc oxide can be used as medicine.
4.In the cosmetics industry, people pay more and more attention to the application of zinc oxide in cosmetics due to ultraviolet absorption ability of zinc oxide.
