Taq antibody is a mouse monoclonal antibody against Taq enzyme, which is suitable for hot start PCR. Taq antibody can inhibit DNA polymerase activity after binding with Taq enzyme, and then effectively inhibit the nonspecific annealing of primer and nonspecific amplification caused by primer dimer at low temperature. Taq antibody denatured in the initial DNA denaturation step of PCR reaction, and the activity of DNA polymerase recovered to achieve the effect of hot start. Therefore, there is no need to inactivate Taq enzyme antibody.
